Medical Detox and Medication-Assisted Treatment
Medical detoxification is offered at hospitals or health care clinics. Still, on-site medical detox at an addiction treatment facility allows you to begin the rehabilitation process simultaneously. After treatment, all White Oak Recovery Center residents are given written relapse prevention plans and provided a temporary sponsor or someone they can lean on until they find a sponsor close to their home. Residents who complete treatment can also become a sponsor— encouraging accountability.

Family Therapy
Addiction is called a family disease because it impacts the entire family, and families ultimately need to heal and recover from addiction too. Recovery has more potential to be successful when the whole family is informed about addiction and involved in the recovery process.
Our expert team understands family therapy is an integral part of treatment. Under the resident’s consent, family members can be included in therapy and counseling sessions once a week. Our therapists will arrange video conferences for family therapy if the resident or family is from out of state.
